2008 WSSC Spring Lesson Program will be starting on Monday 5/12/08. Parents will have the choice of Mon. & Wed. or Tue. & Thu. and one of three time slots (4:00-4:45 / 5:00-5:45 / 6:00-6:45) Registration for the lesson program will be on Monday 5/5/08 and Tuesday 5/6/08 at 6:00 at the High School pool. The fee for this session will be $65.00/child.
The Washingtonville Seahawks Swim Club is an age group based team dedicated to providing children with a challenging competitive swimming experience. We believe that this experience will promote good physical health and mental discipline. We believe the swimmers will enjoy the satisfaction of striving for and attaining goals that they have set for themselves. They will enjoy the camaraderie of their teammates and they will learn to exhibit good sportsmanship. The Seahawks welcome swimmers ages 6 to 17. Swimmers of all ability levels are encouraged to tryout. Dedication and desire are the two most important factors for improvement. The benefits of swimming accrue to swimmers who attend practices and meets regularly. Swimmers are encouraged to practice on schedule and to participate in all swim meets. The Seahawks depend on the volunteer participation of parents to operate the program. Parents are expected to actively participate on committees and fund raising activities.
